Welcome to Captain Scott Legacy Society
Supporting volunteers since 2019
We're a Canadian, registered charity that works closely with nonprofit and charitable organizations to foster welcoming, accessible, and impactful volunteer spaces. We are currently based in Vancouver, BC.
Our projects encourage change-makers from all walks of life into volunteering spaces and recognize the unsung heroes in our community who make our community a better place for everyone!

Become a Volunteer Ambassador
We're all about spreading kindness and making a difference, so our Volunteer Ambassadors help us inspire even more people to volunteer!
At least once a month, Volunteer Ambassadors young and old come out to volunteer with us as a group at local community events and activities. It's always more fun to volunteer together— bring your friends and family! This fantastic lineup of family-friendly and inclusive events are pre-scheduled so you can make your calendars in advance.
Let's have a blast volunteering with friends and family. Come join the fun and let's make our community thrive together!

Our Land Acknowledgement
Captain Scott Legacy Society respectfully acknowledges that we live, work, volunteer, and play on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the Coast Salish peoples–Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), Stó:lō, Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nations.
We value the Indigenous cultural relationships to the land, animals, and people. We strive to promote volunteerism that respects and supports Indigenous culture and the unceded lands on Turtle Island whenever possible.
As a group of settlers and immigrants, we raise our hands in gratitude to our hardworking volunteers, resilient communities, and beautiful lands.
