Youth Wave
Helping youth discover the power of volunteering.
Youth Wave is a youth focused initiative by Captain Scott Legacy Society that helps students discover volunteer opportunities, connect with local organizations, and explore meaningful ways to get involved in their communities. Through volunteer fairs, workshops, and community experiences, Youth Wave encourages young people to build confidence, make connections, and create positive impact.

Youth Volunteer Fair 2026
Our 2026 Youth Volunteer Fair on April 17, in collaboration with Writer's Exchange, brought together students and local organizations for a day of community, connection, and discovering volunteer opportunities across Metro Vancouver.
Students had the opportunity to meet nonprofits, learn about different causes, ask questions, and explore ways to get involved both during high school and beyond.
Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, and supported this year’s event.
We can't wait to see you at the next Youth Volunteer Fair!
