Giving Back at Belkin House: Kitchen Duty & Clothing Drive
This winter, our team had the opportunity to return to Belkin House to support both kitchen duty and the clothing drive market on December 14, 21, and January 11, and 18. With a group of five to six volunteers each visit, we divided into two teams: one supporting the kitchen and the other running the clothing drive. Making Soup and Community for The Dugout
On January 17 , our Volunteer Wave team had such a great time making soup for The Dugout in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside using the Watari Kitchen. Art, Conversation, and Connection with Senior Residents in South Vancouver
The Volunteer Wave community kicked off the new year with an Arts and Crafts Party at Southview and Terrace Seniors Residence on January 3, 2026 . To make sure there was something for everyone, our volunteers hosted five different activity stations, allowing residents to participate at their own pace and comfort level.
