Join us for a heartwarming letter-writing event aimed at building community and spreading kindness. This event is open to all ages.

Event Details:

Date: Saturday, July 13, 2024 Time: 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM Location: Simon Fraser University at 8888 University Dr W, Burnaby, BC V5A 1S6 in the Student Union Building (SUB) Ballroom.

Instructions for those taking the bus to SFU, get off the first SFU bus stop (SFU Transportation Centre) and walk towards the big stairs with the piano towards Convocation Mall. Take the stairs to the top and and keep walking on the right hand side to see the Student Union Building. (If you see the the Starbucks, you are on the wrong side).

Event Highlights:

• Handwritten Letters: We'll be writing letters in various languages to reach out to people both locally and globally.
• Local Outreach: With the support of Richmond Multicultural Community Services and Multicultural Helping House Society, we'll write welcoming notes to immigrants, refugees, and newcomers to Canada.
• Global Outreach: We'll also send letters to individuals nominated by organizations like The World Needs More Love Letters and Love for our Elders, offering them extra love and support.

Additional Information:

• Letter writing and crafts supplies will be provided
• Enjoy complimentary food and refreshments while you write!
