Did you know that 68% of the food the Greater Vancouver Food Bank distributes is fresh? Help the Greater Vancouver Food Bank provide healthy food to those in need by quality checking and categorizing perishable fruit, vegetable, dairy, and deli donations. We are looking for volunteers who can support us, complete tasks independently, and have a passion for rescuing food.

• Date: Monday, December 30, 2024

• Full shift: 1:00-4:00 PM. Please show up on time: Volunteers will receive a brief orientation at the start of their shifts by a Sort Associate.

• 8345 Winston Street, Burnaby Use the accessibility ramp to enter the warehouse. There is a doorbell/accessible door open button to ring or use for entry by the door if the door is closed. The volunteer lounge is in the warehouse through the blue barn doors on the right side. 

• Shifts take place in a temperature-controlled environment (4 to 10 degrees Celcius).
