About the event
Our Volunteer Ambassadors will be serving snacks and facilitating activities for community members at The Dugout, a drop-in living room space in the Downtown Eastside/Gastown neighbourhood on Sunday January 19th, 2025. The Dugout is a registered charity that provides free daily meals and a safe, inclusive space for residents of the DTES in Vancouver, BC. It provides a welcoming place for those who are experiencing homelessness or near homeless to build positive connections in the community and counter isolation and loneliness.
