Caring for the Coquitlam River & Forest Cleanup
On September 26 , our Volunteer Wave team joined Web of Life for a forest cleanup along the Coquitlam River. Thirteen volunteers, including our team, showed up ready and eager to help. Some brought their own gloves and even a wheelbarrow, which made it easier to manage larger pieces of trash along the trail. Building Connection Through Sandwiches and Service at The Dugout
The Volunteer Wave community has been deepening its connection with The Dugout, a safe “living room” space for those experiencing homelessness in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside. This fall, our volunteers once again had the opportunity to spend time supporting the Greater Vancouver Food Bank.
