On April 11th, our Volunteer Wave community had the pleasure of joining a large-scale community clean-up in Coquitlam, BC, organized by local media and marketing company Boro and Beyond. Covering Town Centre Park, the Coquitlam River, and Glen Park, the event brought together over 100 community-minded volunteers from 10 AM to 2 PM. On April 4th, we had the chance to come together near Edmonds Station in Burnaby alongside Carl from Web of Life for a community cleanup around Byrne Creek. With over 18 volunteers joining us to care for this clean up, it turned out to be a day none of us will forget anytime soon. From the start, the energy was just right.
